I have been making quilts in love for nearly 20 years. I caught the quilting bug when I was 35 years old and haven't been able to get rid of it ever since. I was inspired by the idea of comfort and making people feel good and it’s been a tremendous outlet for all my artistic abilities and lots of fun too! I make all kinds of quilts and quilting including appliqué quilts, which right now is my favorite.

I machine appliqué and machine quilt but also hand quilt whole cloth quilts.  There are such a wide variety of quilts that I love to make and no end to new patterns and fabric to keep me going. I love quilts that speak to me and when I add appliqué to the top of fabric it creates a picture and does just that!

I'm never without a quilting project and usually have several going at once and can always be seen with one in hand. I hope to inspire others to quilt and so teach quilting classes at Beehive Quilts located at 535 Main Street in Woodland, California where I also have quilts on display and for sale.

I've quilted in love hundreds of quilts and given them not only to family and friends but donated many over the years to a variety of organizations, including: hospitals, the military, breast cancer awareness, school and church raffles, victims of domestic violence, the homeless, and to children through the Linus project.
